The Women Part

The women has fought to vote, The women has fought to work, The women has fought to be independence.   And still we have these responsibilities. I have realized it in my travel and as older I get more and more people are asking different questions. Questions who shouldn’t get asked when you could decide over your own life freely. Some of these questions are: When do you get your next boyfriend or better husband? Do you want children / when are you getting children? Do you not want to start a stable job and get a family and house? Get serious! But why is society expecting from us women in the age of 25-30 to get serous? I know a lot of guys who are 30 and still playing their online shooting games, changing jobs every few months and just enjoying life. Why can’t we do this? Why should we get how you call it serious? Society says we should have the same rights as man. Yes we are working like man but only …

The End of the Worldtrip

What a weird feeling. Just a few days left and my WorldTravel is finished. Then I will have a few days more and I will sit again on my desk, smelling the morning coffee and starring on my screen. Today it was the first day that another traveler has sad “I am sorry” to me because my travel ends. But why? I must say yes it feels really weird to know that I will have a flat at home, a normal job and also some hobbys (my horse), but I am pleased to have had this amazing chance to see the world. I am more than happy what I have experienced and I know by myself it will be not the last big travel I am doing. (I already plan the next big, a bit different trip) On the other side I am glad not to plan day by day, not to search the next hostel, the next food store or the next washing saloon. Not to know if you can shower in the next …

Do i want a normal life?

Have you ever thought about what you really want ? I want to travel, to see amazing places and have crazy stories to tell. But than an inner spine is coming who says no, society says you should be married, have children and a house. How are you handling it ? I was talking yesterday to a friend and he just was saying: you don’t want a so called normal life. You want to experience everything and you don’t let yourself stop from something. I was really surprised because I was thinking I am way more quite in what I am doing. I don’t go bungee jumping or skydiving. OK I am afraid of heights, but still. I am traveling slow and also enjoy more time at one place. My last travel was fast every week 1 or 2 city’s, every tour I could find and I was nearly scared to miss one piece of it. You can say I get older because I don’t need (what for a crazy word, you never need or …

Annapurna Circuite Day 8 – 12

Manang (3540hm) – Yak Kharka (4018hm) The days are getting shorter because we make more high meters but straight up the mountains. Today is just around 5 hours of walking. Really nice scenery and not really hard. It’s a dry area and now there are also no cars anymore. Everything what you need now must be transported on horses or yaks. But that’s really nice its quiet and hot. Haha after we are so burned from yesterday we need to cover everything up. I already have bought a round scarf to cover my face more. You learn just in a few days what kind of equipment you really need for a hike. Our group is now getting a bit smaller because 3 of the guys want to make another side track for acclimatization what needs 3 days but I don’t have really the time for it. So maybe we see them in the end of the track again. Today we have again a long time to recover its around 5 hours only for walking and …

Dreaming and creating the life of your dreams

Today I want to talk about another topic! Your dream life. Since we are all small we are dreaming of the life we wish we can create in our future. Some wants to get married and kids, a big travel, a big car or house, others are dreaming of that job to gain their millions in their bank account. What are your dream? The reality hit us most hard after school or sometimes a bit later after the study. Mostly than the dreams are staying dreams. The job is not that good what we are getting, the travel is too expensive or the man they are searching just don’t exist. Everyone from my friends know that I have plenty of dreams in my head, but they were just dreams. I was loving to talk over them but that’s it. How to start? I was reading one really nice book what was just called “mindfulness”. Jep that’s the title. Every day for 30 days you sit down and meditate for 10 min. It sounds like nothing …

It is not enough!

In other words comparing! It is the feeling that you are never good enough and never will be good enough because there will be always someone who is better. I have had resent these feeling. I am currently traveling and everyone was saying to me: “you have the best life ever!”, “I would wish I could do that too!”…. But in these one moment I was not like yeah that’s true, I really rock my life. I was more like hey dudes, why are you thinking that this is something special what I am doing? There are other people out there, they are having a carrier and traveling. They have travel blogs, YouTube channels and make a bunch of money with it. The travel was not enough anymore for me. I wanted to have more! Do you not also have sometimes these feeling? Someone has a better body like you, more money, a better job, a better family or boyfriend / girlfriend? You try to catch up with these people but here comes the hard …

Annapurna Circuite Day 7

Manang Acclimatisation day! Today we can’t really get further in the Annapurna Track because of the acclimatisation. So how to use a free day as a hiker? Jep do another hike. A small group of 5 (Swedish guy and the 3 Argentinian people) are making the way to the ice lake near Manang. We need to walk back a few minutes and coming threw a monastery with horses. Than a really big climbing part starts, 1000 meters up. At the top there is only a small café where we get a hot tea and a small rest, then we walk further to the ice lake. And jep it’s a frozen lake that’s what I can say. Frozen lake! Not really spectacular but the few OMG! You can see the whole valley and the snowy mountains. On the way back 1000 m down, I can really feel my legs, they are starting with hurting like hell and i get a bit scared how i will survive the next few days. I don’t have my walking sticks today …

Annapurna Ciruit Day 5-6

Chame (2670hm) – Upper Pisang (3300hm) Another day, another life. That’s what I say! And what a day. The walking starts to be a meditation for me. I enjoy it soo much to have no Wifi, no problems. Only where can I sleep, where is my food and my water. Maybe also where can I have a shower but that’s it totally. I realize that we really don’t need that much to life and to be happy. I haven’t felt so free since a long time. I already think of a next walk I will do or another big long time adventure. But first I enjoy these amazing day. It is an easy day for walking, no steep climb and the mountain formations are spectacular. I feel like how I Imagen Mongolia a bit, some trees but mostly stones and rivers. The scenery looks more out of a film than real. When we are arriving at Upper Pissang we have one of the best tea huts ever. The few over Snowy mountains and the walk …

Annapurna Circuit Day 2-4

Lampata (ca.1300hm) – Jagat (1300hm) We are starting really early at 6.30 o clock. Everyone is awake to have a short breakfast and then start with rumbling. An Australian phrase what I have learned down there. The walking starts with a small hill, and we see some children making a shrine out of clay. The day is really good no rain and our clothes are dry. So we can get a lot of km’s inside. It is an easy walk some side tracks but really nice ones. Off course also again some bridges but at the moment I start to get used to them. I am afraid of highs and in the morning they are usually no problems. I am than still a bit tired and with a good breakfast and energy level, no problem. After we have passed some villages we make a turn to another side-track. On the map is staying marijuana fields (see the pic) we find some plants and a really nice cold water pipe where we make a small rest. …

Annapurna Circuit Day 1

How to come to the starting point? I was taking the local Bus what is a quite, bumpy and different experience to the normal bus I was used to. No one really was speaking English (I was really lucky that a nice guy who could speak fluent English was sitting next to me in the end). In the beginning they were speaking and pointing sometimes laughing at me but I just think that they were laughing about the only tourist in the bus. In the end yes I think they were laughing because I have had no clue what I will experience in it. Loud Indian music with movies sometimes, then you are at the destination and have no clue where you are really. They just throw you out somewhere. For my luck and I can believe for a lot of hikers too is Besi Shahar full of hikers. They just sitting outside in the sun and it easy to find a hostel. (I Don’t have sad that they are nice there 😉 )We couldn’t …
