Annapurna Ciruit Day 5-6

Chame (2670hm) – Upper Pisang (3300hm) Another day, another life. That’s what I say! And what a day. The walking starts to be a meditation for me. I enjoy it soo much to have no Wifi, no problems. Only where can I sleep, where is my food and my water. Maybe also where can I have a shower but that’s it totally. I realize that we really don’t need that much to life and to be happy. I haven’t felt so free since a long time. I already think of a next walk I will do or another big long time adventure. But first I enjoy these amazing day. It is an easy day for walking, no steep climb and the mountain formations are spectacular. I feel like how I Imagen Mongolia a bit, some trees but mostly stones and rivers. The scenery looks more out of a film than real. When we are arriving at Upper Pissang we have one of the best tea huts ever. The few over Snowy mountains and the walk …

Annapurna Circuit Day 2-4

Lampata (ca.1300hm) – Jagat (1300hm) We are starting really early at 6.30 o clock. Everyone is awake to have a short breakfast and then start with rumbling. An Australian phrase what I have learned down there. The walking starts with a small hill, and we see some children making a shrine out of clay. The day is really good no rain and our clothes are dry. So we can get a lot of km’s inside. It is an easy walk some side tracks but really nice ones. Off course also again some bridges but at the moment I start to get used to them. I am afraid of highs and in the morning they are usually no problems. I am than still a bit tired and with a good breakfast and energy level, no problem. After we have passed some villages we make a turn to another side-track. On the map is staying marijuana fields (see the pic) we find some plants and a really nice cold water pipe where we make a small rest. …

Annapurna Circuit Day 1

How to come to the starting point? I was taking the local Bus what is a quite, bumpy and different experience to the normal bus I was used to. No one really was speaking English (I was really lucky that a nice guy who could speak fluent English was sitting next to me in the end). In the beginning they were speaking and pointing sometimes laughing at me but I just think that they were laughing about the only tourist in the bus. In the end yes I think they were laughing because I have had no clue what I will experience in it. Loud Indian music with movies sometimes, then you are at the destination and have no clue where you are really. They just throw you out somewhere. For my luck and I can believe for a lot of hikers too is Besi Shahar full of hikers. They just sitting outside in the sun and it easy to find a hostel. (I Don’t have sad that they are nice there 😉 )We couldn’t …

Travel and life!

The one thing no one can take away from you are these amazing experience while you are travelling. When you feel sometimes down, just smile. You are one of these lucky ones, who can travel and explore the world. How many people can say that ? Be happy also when you are stuck in the airport for hours, be happy if you stuck in a city or somewhere else. There is a reason why you are there. Nothing happens without purpose. I have so many times experience it. Everything has a reason and the universe or good or however you want to call it, it don’t want you to suffer. They want, that you are happy and love this life. You are an amazing person and everything what’s happen to you will form your personality and will show you a new perspective/way in your life. I am stuck in an airplane at the moment and just realise again how freaking lucky I am. When I am travelling, I am greatful of every day. I love …

2 Days in Kathmandu

My first day in Nepal and my first day in Kathmandu. I was a bit surprised! It was dark and heavily raining outside. The taxis driving like crazy and your only thought is “How I will survive that drive to my hostel!” But yeah you do and the next day I was waking up from a kiss of the sun in my face. It was early around 7o clock and so quite outside. My hostel was near the Monkey Temple so further outside of the tourist shopping zone what was really nice. I was searching the “quietness” after my busy working days in Germany. I have met already the evening before some people in the hostel and together we are exploring Kathmandu for a day. The breakfast was really good, some toasts with eggs and a honey ginger tea. We are 2 German girls and strolling around the area. We see our first monkeys, they are bathing in the sun, exploring the area and finding here and there some small food. The street dogs and …

Introduction to my travel style

What can I say to how I want to travel ? My travel style will be every time different. I don’t like it just to go to a country and visit in 1-2 days some cities and then off home again. It’s nice and it sometimes happens because of the holidays you get while you work but not that often. I will travel out of the norm. Out of my comfort zone. That means long-term travel and slow travel. I love to go hiking, biking, diving, horse riding and just explore the area and the culture. But to do that I must sometimes go to places where not Wifi or less Wifi is, that makes it impossible to post something on Instagram or here. Off course, I try to keep you up to date especially when I have Wifi again. So don’t be angry if I am offline for a while, something amazing is then waiting of you!

It is OK to feel bad!

What you don’t expect will happen at a time you can’t Imagen! Anger, confusion, scariness. These feelings are not allowed in our society. Everyone is talking of how to fake it (happiness) till you make it and yes there are a truth inside of it but sometimes its just not working. What’s happen then? Falling in a deeper hole and question it, why you can’t fake it ? Felling worse only because you have a bad day? Nooooooo And when I could, I would scream it into your face. It is OK to feel shit after a breakup. It’s OK to feel angry after loosing something or someone. It is OK to question yourself. It‘s OK!!!! When you don’t be aware of these bad feelings, they will nagging on you, you will feel them over and over again because these feelings are there, and they want you to accept them. They are a part of you, so don’t cut them out. Go and get your ice, your pizza or go partying. Whatever you need to …

Dreams and how to live them

What a start in the day! I was just walking to the main station to get my train and off course was again really excited because I have had a new idea. So I was telling my friend about it and was stopping. The text I was writing was more like: Yeah I know another idea from Stephanie…. And here it comes. I have amazing ideas but that’s it. I stop with pushing them further. It’s just the Moment. I know it’s a gift that I have the idea and …. stop. Metaphorical you can say you’re in full speed running but stopping straight because there is a small puddle in front of you. So you are turning around and go back home. That’s maybe the best description what I can give. That’s what I am doing my hole lifelong. Some ideas are coming they pulling me so strong to them, that after years I fulfil them, but more than 98% getting lost in the ocean. So what is the plan?  Start your time management. …

Where is my passion gone?

Today I was working again on my website. I need to learn way more but I start really to enjoy the process of creating it. Mostly I was doing the writing thing but jep, you need to know how to do some software stuff too. After a few hours I was starring on the clock and couldn’t Imagen what’s happen. I have forgotten the time! Since a long time I was doing something with so much passion, that I really have forgotten the time. Yes I really couldn’t Imagen it. Should not every day be like that? Full of passion and stuff what you love? So I was asking myself where is my passion gone ? When have I lost it? And the answer was so simple, in the routine. The routine of every day! It is something good in one way because you can organize everything and you don’t must be worried that you miss anything. But in our days there is way too much planning and organizing. Everyday looks like the same. I could …

Let your dreams come true…

I am a hopeless dreamer! I love to dream over adventures, far away countries and exploring the most amazing nature in the world. If it is flying with a balloon, diving with sharks or riding a mustang. I love to dream about it. And so many people are doing the same. Dreaming !! Reality looks different. Sitting in the office, staring out of the window. The yellow light from the surrounding lamps shining on the walls. The desk full of papers, the to do list for the day in front of you. Your dreams are getting you through the day and you know, no one can take them away from you. But why only dreaming when you can live your dreams? Start small! Take a weekend trip to another city, to the mountains, start a new hobby or just visiting some friends who you don’t have seen since a long time. Start small and grow with it. Don’t sit around and hope something will change. You must be the change. I have started with small …
